Default to Consistent

One of the most significant sources of churn and frustration is decision fatigue. This is especially true in React, where the developer is given great leeway in their selection of tools. I will argue that removing autonomy can result in developers being more free to work on the most significant problems, and consistent tooling and code conventions is a high-leverage tool that will allow you to maintain or improve velocity as your team grows. I will define what "highly consistent" means to me, the downsides, and the benefits.
