In recent years more homes become connected to the internet and manipulated through mobile apps. Usually smart products such as smart lightbulbs, switches, sensors, motors and more come with pre-built apps, which not always look like we want them to look. In this workshop we will learn how you can create your own React Native apps that interact with smart products. We will learn what are the best practices of connecting your app to bluetooth devices, learn how we can reverse engineer existing smart products to understand how they interact with their apps and will create our own app for controlling a smart lightbulb.
